South Africa’s ‘Post Zuma Era’ Journey to Recovery – Possibility or Fallacy

A BSc Graduate of KZN University. Wayne’s three and a half decade career covers various experiences that span the Transport & Tourism industries through to civil activism. His achievements include that of Chief Executive at Avis South Africa, Chairman of the SA Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association and a board member of the Tourism Business Council of SA (TBCSA).
Most recently, Wayne was the founding director and Chairperson / CEO of the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) since its inception in 2012, which drove the biggest civil disobedience campaign against Government’s e-toll decision, along with irrational tax policy, corruption and maladministration in the public sector.

Dalin Oliver

Cape Town based Dalin Oliver, a former high school mathematics and history teacher from Retreat, is a familiar voice to mother city locals on South Africa’s oldest commercial music and lifestyle radio station, Good Hope FM, where he dons the hat of Sports Presenter on the weekday Breakfast Show.
The 29 year old is also one half of the Stations weekly comedy show, Happy Hour where Oliver and fellow comedian Carl Weber provide an essential dose of laughter that will make your day 50 shades lighter.
His on-stage journey started in 2010 and he has since captured audiences with his clean-cut energetic brand of comedy that has been described as easily accessible, nostalgic and diverse in the best kind of way.
Dalin is fast becoming a familiar face as one of the rising stars on the South African Comedy scene and looks forward to meeting you.

Max du Preez

The grass on the other side is AstroTurf

Max du Preez is a veteran journalist, political analyst and academic. He is the author of 14 books on South African history and politics. In 1988 he launched the anti-apartheid Afrikaans newspaper Vrye Weekblad which was forced to close down in 1994, but relaunches as an online publication on 5 April. He is the recipient of many national and international awards, including honorary doctorates from the Universities of the Free State and Stellenbosch.
