The South African Green Industries Council (SAGIC) is a non-profit company representing the green industry in South Africa.
SAGIC supports and promotes organisations, institutions, private/public companies and/or any individual who seek involvement, advice or participation in any of the green industry’s activities, objectives and commitments.

2020 has definitely been a year of trying times. The Covid 19 pandemic brought so many unforeseen and unfortunate circumstance; some people lost their loved ones while others lost their source of income.
Status of the Green Industry
SAGIC, as the umbrella body representing several associations in the Green Industry, determined that with the support of the AgriSETA, it would be advantageous to conduct a research project to determine the status of the Green Industry together with the training needs for the Horticulture Sub-Sector Skills Plan, as compiled by the AgriSETA.
