Water Conservation Training for Garden Centre Retail Staff of SANA Members
SAGIC is partnering with Rand Water and South African Nursery Association (SANA) to deliver targeted, high-impact Water Wise training workshops. These sessions aim to promote water and environmental conservation practices in garden centres across the Rand Water footprint.
Training Format:
Four water wise workshop topics …
🪴 Hydrozoning Workshop
🌱 Soils, Compost and Mulch Workshop
🌻 Plant Characteristics Workshop
🚿 Irrigation and Watering Workshop
TIME: All workshops will be held from 09h00 – 12h00
- There is no charge for workshops.
- Each workshop topic will be delivered twice.
- There will be a total of EIGHT training sessions.
- SANA Garden Centres may send as many delegates as they wish
- Each training workshop will have a minimum of 30 delegates
Venues:
- Garden centres and suppliers across Gauteng.
- Delegates are expected to get to the venues for training.
Workshop content:
- Will be practical
- Is aligned with Water Wise principles
- Is targeted at garden centre retailing staff
- Is suitable for garden centre environments
- Has been approved by SAGIC, SANA, and Rand Water.
SAGIC Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all participants. There are certificates for ALL four training topics.
